The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for managing the operational daily tasks of the housekeeping department. The main responsibility is to ensure that the hotel rooms and the public areas are properly cleaned and that the company quality standards are applied. Housekeeping is managed by the hotel itself with a flexible pool of outside labor that is trained on site. Your job is to make them feel part of the team! The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for leading, coaching and motivating the team. He/She will maintain the contact with the cleaning company and will fulfill some administrative tasks such as ordering materials.
